About the Role

We are seeking a committed individual to join our catering team at Longsands Primary School, providing high-quality meals for school children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the dining area for service, including setting up furniture and cleaning.
  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
  • Ensure all equipment and catering areas are clean and well-maintained.

Requirements

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and use initiative.
  • Good customer care skills.
  • Previous catering experience desirable.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Term-time only.
  • 11.25 hours per week, with variable hours depending on school meal uptake.
  • Plus 4 cleaning days per year.

Disclosure and Barring Service

If successful, you will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure.
