An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Telemarketing Sales Representative to join Aspire Training Team, a nationally recognized training provider. Aspire Training Team operates across various regions, delivering apprenticeships in Childcare, Business Administration, Customer Service, and Leadership & Management, alongside short courses. We are a Grade 2 Ofsted provider and have received Investors in People recognition and the Beacon Award for Training Excellence.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to schedule sales meetings for our consultants to secure sales of our apprenticeships and training programs. This will involve outreach via phone and virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities of this Role Include:
Generating leads through online research, social media engagement, and attending networking events to identify potential sales opportunities. Conducting cold calls to prospective clients. Analyzing reasons for inquiries that do not convert into sales and developing strategies for overcoming objections. Executing delegated marketing, sales, and public relations activities to promote courses and apprenticeships, collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager and Administrator. Accurately maintaining the Client Management System and preparing monthly reports on various activities. Assisting with lead generation efforts. Performing basic administrative tasks for sales consultants and the Business Development Manager. Updating our CRM system as needed.Required Skills and Experience:
B2B cold calling experience is preferred but not mandatory; previous experience in a client-facing sales role is advantageous. Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter is beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.Above all, we seek a team-oriented individual driven by success; this position offers the potential for further development into a sales consultant role with account management responsibilities, supported by comprehensive in-house training.
