Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the reactive and preventative repair and maintenance of all onsite plant facilities and equipment to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Engineering Manager to deal proactively with issues.
- Excellent communication on engineering matters to all departments.
- Achieve factory KPIs and identify opportunities for creative problem-solving.
- Drive costs down wherever possible.
- Make best use of available time and resources.
Requirements:
- 17/18th BS 7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations.
- 5 years minimum experience in a similar multi-skilled role.
- Fault-finding experience on PLC, SCADA, Power & Control circuits, Pneumatics, Mechanical drives & conveyor systems.
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, etc.).
Working Conditions:
- Hours for this role are 10pm - 6am Sunday to Thursday.
- Please note: There is a Sunday premium which would bring the salary up to £55k.
