About the Role:

Reqiva is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud-based systems and architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software development teams to establish a DevSecOps approach, ensuring security is integrated into every stage of the development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain security configurations for cloud infrastructure, applications, and products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training on secure coding practices and security best practices to various teams, promoting a culture of security awareness.
  • Design and implement security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business needs and priorities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain security standards for product development, ensuring security is treated as a first-class citizen.
  • Define test strategies, models, and frameworks to ensure the security, privacy, quality, and compliance of products, toolsets, and environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our security posture and protect our business.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including development teams, product owners, and security teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect or similar role, with a strong background in cloud security and architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of public cloud security and their core components, including AWS.
  • Experience with security incident response procedures and a strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of software development, security, and operations principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as NodeJS, Perl, or C++.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and best practices.
