About the Role

AECOM is seeking a talented and motivated Transport Planning Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Transport Planning Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality transport solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in data collection and analysis, and review and build transport models using various modelling tools
  • Plan and evaluate future transport schemes and associated business cases
  • Review drawings and documents, including Transport Assessments and Travel Plans, and assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, bids, and proposals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Economics, Maths, or an MSc in Transport Planning with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Economics, Maths, or Transport Planning would be an advantage
  • Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Transport Planning
  • Demonstrable interest in Transport Planning and developing a career in this industry
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external clients, both verbally and in writing
  • Confidence to engage with a variety of people and the aptitude to rationally explain, explore, and discuss technical issues and capture feedback
