    • Recruit, train, and develop care staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support services
    • Monitor and evaluate staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
    • Ensure that staff are aware of and comply with all relevant policies and procedures
  • Quality Assurance
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that care and support services meet the highest standards
    • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support services
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders
    • Communicate effectively with care staff, management, and other stakeholders
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that care and support services are integrated with other services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A track record of delivering high-quality care and support services
  • Experience of leading and supervising care staff
  • Knowledge of care and support policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments

Qualifications and Skills

You will need:

  • A good standard of general education, including GCSEs in Maths and English
  • A QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • An NVQ / QCF Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or will work towards this qualification within 18 months of starting)
  • Ability to undertake manual handling tasks
