Join Our Team as a Site Supervisor for Renewable Energy Projects

Toro Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading engineering company specializing in renewable energy generation projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to oversee projects across the UK, requiring frequent travel and offering the opportunity to work on innovative renewable energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all civil construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
  • Supervise civil construction activities such as excavation, foundation work, trenching, and concrete pouring.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and on-site personnel.
  • Ensure all work adheres to project specifications, drawings, and health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor progress against the project schedule and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify quality and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Report on progress, delays, and challenges to the project management team.
  • Manage materials and resources to meet project needs.
  • Assist in preparing risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and related documentation.
  • Attend project meetings and provide input on civil works.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in civils/groundworks within the Power Distribution sector (LV/HV).
  • Machine tickets: Digger/Dumper.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil construction techniques and processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum.
  • 26 days of holiday plus bank holidays (with an additional day after 2 years of service).
