Quantity Surveyor Opportunity at Mane Contract Services

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Mane Contract Services, a leading M&E Contractor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the commercial aspects of our projects, working under the guidance of our Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate financial management and control.
  • Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage project variations and general change management, identifying and mitigating commercial and contractual risks.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly cost reports, producing comprehensive month-end reports that inform business decisions.
  • Attend meetings to progress or finalize project accounts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (Degree, HNC, or NVQ preferred).
  • 2 years of experience preferred, but candidates with relevant experience or qualifications will also be considered.
  • Strong IT skills, especially in MS Office, with a focus on Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
  • Effective time management skills and a methodical approach.
