About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV driver to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel Aerospace & Defence. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent service to our customers through hard work and dedication.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and legal working environment by complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures.
  • Assist in delivering high-quality service to our customers through efficient and effective transportation of goods.
  • Maintain a positive image of Kuehne+Nagel Aerospace & Defence by promoting a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Adhere to safe and high driver standards, and promote positive driver behaviours.
  • Follow all delivery, collection, and returns procedures to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Maintain and manage company equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure the security of the vehicle and load at all times, and report any defects or issues promptly.
  • Comply with Driver's regulations and the Working Time Directive in line with the O license legislation and Company procedures.
  • Undertake other duties as required, where appropriate training is provided.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Must hold a current Class C+E licence.
  • Desirable ADR Class 1-9, including 7x awareness – Less 7.
  • Basic numeracy and conversational English language.
  • Hold a valid driver qualification card.
  • Preferred 2 years driving experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-focused.
  • Desire to succeed.
  • Experience of working within a team and experience of Health & Safety.
