About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resuscitation Officer to join our team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Resuscitation Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the provision of high-quality resuscitation services across the Trust.
Main Responsibilities
- Organise and deliver resuscitation and clinical emergency response training to staff at all levels, using a range of teaching methods and technologies.
- Lead and support clinical emergencies within acute settings, as part of the cardiac arrest team.
- Oversight of emergency equipment used in resuscitation.
- Facilitate focused audits within the remit of Resuscitation Services.
- Implement evidence-based practice and quality improvement projects to enhance patient safety.
- Organise, facilitate, and support Deteriorating Patient and Clinical Skills training delivery.

Requirements
- Registered healthcare professional with significant recent acute clinical experience.
- Resuscitation Council UK Advanced Life Support Instructor qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
