Position: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Caregiver

Location: Maidstone, ME17

Job Type: Part-time (2 full days, Tuesday and Wednesday)

Compensation: £20 Gross per Hour

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Caregiver to provide support for a lively and affectionate 4-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy. This role involves assisting him in his daily activities and promoting his development in a nurturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide sole charge care on designated days.
  • Engage in outdoor play and activities that foster social interaction.
  • Support the child in developing communication skills through fun and creative methods.
  • Implement therapeutic programs as guided by the child’s therapy team.
  • Assist with errands, meal preparation, and household tasks related to the child.
  • Participate in playgroups and outings to enhance social experiences.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special needs.
  • Ability to work independently and confidently in a sole charge role.
  • Must be a non-smoker/vaper.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are essential.
