Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the site, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- React quickly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
- Support and learn from senior reliability engineering technicians, developing expertise in maintenance and repair techniques.
- Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Experience in fault finding on building equipment, including HVAC, dock doors, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
Requirements:
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems and experience in interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, and sortation machines.
- Experience of print and apply machines and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a non-traditional shift pattern, including nights and weekends.

This role is part of the Amazon UK Services Ltd. team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.
As a Maintenance and Reliability Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability and quality of equipment, mitigating risks, and resolving issues proactively.
