Position Title: Industrial Equipment Technician
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime.
Compensation: £12.00-£13.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Utilize guillotine and brake press machinery.
- Interpret and analyze technical schematics.
- Manage operations of an overhead 5-tonne crane.
- Handle loading and unloading of shipments.
- Conduct general workshop tasks and basic machinery operations.
- Employ a band saw for cutting steel materials.
- Efficiently oversee stock management.
- Prioritize assignments and exhibit adaptability in work approaches.
- Collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the workspace.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- FLT Counterbalance license (preferred).
- Proficient in operating an overhead 5-tonne crane.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
