Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at a Steel Stockholder in Dudley. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a press machine, performing material handling tasks, and palletising finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a press machine to accurately punch holes in steel tubes according to specifications
  • Perform material handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials for production
  • Palletise finished products for storage, ensuring proper handling and organisation
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Work in a team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Operate an FLT to manoeuvre stock around the site

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working as a Machine Operator, preferably in a steel processing environment
  • Experience operating a press or handling steel tubes, bars, etc.
  • Experience using an FLT and/or overhead crane (licences not required)
  • Immediate availability to start a new role

What We Offer:

  • Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm rotating shifts
  • Hourly rate of £12.00p/h
  • Weekly pay through the agency
