Job Title: Principal EMC Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal EMC Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Electrical Engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in electromagnetic compliance (EMC) design and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EMC design strategies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate EMC requirements into system design.
- Design and specify testing regimes to prove system compliance against relevant standards.
- Mentor and coach engineers within the team to ensure EMC knowledge and skills are up-to-date.
Requirements:
- BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Professional registration at Chartered level or evidence of working towards this.
- Experience of design for EMC compliance and knowledge of EMC Defence Standards.
- Proven experience and ability to coach others in a team.
