Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reduce aged debt through timely collections and effective communication with clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve payment issues and ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assess creditworthiness and set credit limits to minimize risk and maximize revenue.
  • Provide regular reports on debts and cash flow to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Improve credit control processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit control, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial software, such as Sage or SAP.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering results.
