We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our Infrastructure team at NatWest. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assurance and influencing business managers to improve control within our digital and data-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assess technology and cyber security risks and controls, and carry out testing to ensure the effectiveness of our controls.
- Contribute to assurance planning and undertake effective process mapping to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyse MI and review risk information to identify key business risks and contribute to continuous monitoring.
- Produce effective audit engagement reports and opinions, which influence our business managers to ensure they lead in a risk-conscious way.
- Engage with stakeholders throughout engagements, making sure they understand business risks by having open and effective conversations on key risks.
- Coach auditors and support them to realise their potential on the engagement.
- Audit or risk management experience, with a strong understanding of the principles of good risk management.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess and prioritise data effectively, quickly establishing what's important.
- A thorough grounding in monitoring and testing effective controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Great communication skills, with the ability to translate concepts in a clear and concise way.
- An in-depth understanding of technology infrastructure and cyber security risks, concepts, and technologies, including cloud native architectures and public cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP), common operating system, database and middleware platforms, and DevOps concepts.
