Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment, allowing employees to work three days in the office and two days remotely, fostering a balanced approach to collaboration and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage multiple sprint priorities across various smaller projects.
2. Ensure all deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria, maintaining high quality within estimated efforts.
3. Take ownership of delivery timelines and team estimations.
4. Adhere to and contribute to established project development standards.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally within an agile team and across a matrix organization.
6. Execute sprint tasks in alignment with milestone deadlines.
7. Conduct unit testing on developed code.
8. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
9. Engage in team planning sessions, focusing on requirements and system design.
10. Provide regular updates on task progress, utilizing team burn downs for tracking.
11. Proactively escalate issues requiring timely resolution, offering suggested solutions.
12. Participate in triaging and resolving priority issues on a rotational basis.
13. Gain experience with integrated delivery pipelines into Microsoft Azure.
Key Requirements:
1. Proficient programming skills.
2. Experience with RDMS or SQL databases, or other modern database technologies.
3. Familiarity with .NET / .NET Core using C#.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Knowledge of industry-standard methodologies, tools, and processes for software development.
6. Willingness to learn or experience with distributed architectures, such as microservices.
7. Understanding of software project lifecycles.
8. Empathy towards software QA and QC processes.
9. Experience with technologies such as ASP.NET, Angular JS, Blazor, React JS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Web API is advantageous.
10. Ability to network across a matrix organization to fulfill commitments.
