Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and execution of the company's Quality Management System.
- Provide comprehensive quality leadership to clients, suppliers, and internal manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and industry standards throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
- Develop technical documentation, including the formulation of Inspection Test Plans.
- Conduct internal quality audits and supplier quality assessments in accordance with the established audit schedule.
- Collaborate with operational engineering and procurement teams to ensure that material and product specifications align with required quality standards.
- Uphold company standards and certifications, including P.E.D, CE, UKCA, ASME U & R.
- Lead investigations and corrective actions in response to quality issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with pipe work ASME codes and PED regulations.
- Strong mathematical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Experience with industry standards such as Pressure Vessel Codes ASME VIII & PD5500, ASME U & R stamp, Pipe Work Codes ASME B31.3 / ASME B31.1, E.D requirements including CE and UKCA Marking, and Welding Standards to ASME IX & BS 15614.
