Job Description

**Job Title:** Financial Administrator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at Service Service. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Financial Planners and Wealth Managers, ensuring the smooth operation of our client services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Financial Planners and Wealth Managers, including setting up policies and trusts, preparing meeting packs, and processing changes to client details.
  • Produce plan information on request and proactively, liaising with product providers as necessary.
  • Liaise with Paraplanners to ensure timely issuance of client reports.
  • Communicate with clients using various methods, handling complex and sensitive queries delegated by Financial Planners and Wealth Managers.
  • Maintain accurate client information, ensure all administrative work is diaried and actioned in Intelliflo Office, and record all relevant correspondence.
  • Respond to client queries promptly and clearly.
  • Process business documentation, including setting up new policies and plans, and dealing with application forms and instruction letters as needed.
  • Deal with all work requirements using time and priority management techniques.
  • Perform other general administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Grade A-C or 9-4 including English and Maths.
  • Certificate in Financial Services and/or a willingness to undertake exams towards this qualification (desirable).
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and committed with excellent team player skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain internal and external professional working relationships.
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Good understanding of a Client Services environment, including dealing with complex administrative cases.
  • Experience working in a client services support role in a financial environment (advantageous).
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills, with good time management and flexibility in work approach.
  • Highly numerate with excellent problem-solving skills and consistently solutions-focused.
  • Strong team player, fostering strong working relationships across teams and other departments.
  • High-quality written and spoken English.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of using Intelliflo Office system (advantageous).
