About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in the Gynaecology Outpatient Department at Lincoln County Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all general Gynaecology clinics and specialist procedure clinics, ensuring patient dignity and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
  • Act as a patient advocate, providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their relatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to IPC standards and ensuring resources are used efficiently.
Requirements
  • English and Maths qualification at GCSE grades A*-C, or Functional Skills Level 2.
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment and using computer systems for data entry and retrieval.
  • Ability to work in a demanding and busy environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to forge effective working relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
