Key Responsibilities

Performance

  • Act as the representative for Acosta, building strong relationships with key decision-makers in retail locations within your assigned area.
  • Regularly visit independent and major retailers in your designated territory.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Achieve daily and weekly targets for distribution, availability, and visibility.
  • Utilize an entrepreneurial approach to effectively manage and enhance the success of your territory.
  • Negotiate for increased shelf space and maintain additional product displays.
  • Enhance brand visibility, educate clients on new product offerings, and execute in-store promotions.
  • Infuse creativity into marketing initiatives through effective in-store execution and Point of Sale (POS) strategies.

Compliance

  • Conduct audits to ensure promotional activities align with approved guidelines and implement necessary interventions to maintain compliance.
  • Verify product availability on shelves and in coolers, ensuring accurate pricing is displayed.
  • Oversee the proper execution of all new product launches.
  • Provide feedback for the enhancement of key promotional activities.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Ensure accurate recording of all response data.
  • Capture high-quality images of completed activities with detailed descriptions.

Market Insight

  • Offer insightful and actionable feedback regarding market trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback on any changes to retailer in-store procedures or systems.
  • Stay informed about trends, news, and information relevant to your working channel.

Technical Skills

  • Analyze and utilize intervention data to drive strategic actions.
  • Evaluate data to determine effective in-store visit strategies.
  • Leverage sales data, case studies, and other materials to pre-sell upcoming activities and secure additional stock orders and displays.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage your travel plans in accordance with our briefing process.
  • Ensure adequate quantities of point-of-sale and promotional materials are available to meet customer needs.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings.

Qualifications

Your relevant experience and expertise for this role:

  • Experience in FMCG, retail, or sales environments is preferred; however, motivated candidates from other sectors will be considered.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the Acosta brand, coupled with the drive and determination to excel.
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
  • Proven sales skills and commercial awareness, with a self-motivated and target-driven attitude.
  • Experience is valued over formal education.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
