About the Role

Forest Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, answering their queries and addressing their concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, ensuring seamless communication with our clinical staff.
• Process new patient registrations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders, both in person and via phone.
• Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our medical office, providing support as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
• Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient in using computerized systems and software, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
