This is not a role focused on routine tasks, but rather one that offers the opportunity to introduce innovative ideas, processes, and approaches to bookkeeping and accounting.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Managing all aspects of clients' financial records
  • Working with a diverse portfolio of businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Controlling client ledgers and reconciling them on a monthly basis
  • Handling accounting queries and providing expert advice
  • Collaborating with clients to help them understand their financial situation better
  • Utilizing software such as Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage

You will be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration and mutual support. The senior leadership team prioritizes staff well-being and provides a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have UK experience working at a firm of chartered accountants as an Accounting Professional (or in a mixed role with a strong understanding of bookkeeping), possess excellent communication skills, and be seeking a long-term career opportunity.
