Trainee Dental Nurse
Location: Bedford House, Bedford, MK40 1NN
40 Hours a week. 8am - 8pm Mon - Sun including Bank Holiday

Working and Training as a Dental Nurse
A dental nurse works closely with the Dentist to assist with various NHS and Private dental procedures, ensuring the best possible patient care and experience.
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you'll work in a supportive environment where we value teamwork, professionalism, and ownership. This includes:
- Assisting the Dentist with chairside support, ensuring the correct equipment and materials are available
- Providing support and assistance to a wide range of patients
- Following practice health and safety and infection control procedures
- Keeping the clinical areas and equipment clean, tidy, and disinfected
- Accurately completing patient clinical records
- Completing daily, weekly, and monthly logs and checks
Rodericks Dental Partners will support Trainee Nurses who have already signed up to or are working towards a Dental Nursing Qualification. For those who have not yet begun a course, we can assist in finding a course provider.
The National Diploma in Dental Nursing (level 3) Qualification will include:
- On-the-job training
- Online learning
- Face-to-face training sessions
- Completion of a record of experience
- Written and Practical exams
