We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to join our team at RYSVIL CARE SERVICES. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the care team and ensuring that a safe, effective, and efficient care service is maintained.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management: Professionally lead the care team during any span of duty, ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to RCS policies and procedures.
  2. Healthcare Programmes: Develop and coordinate healthcare programmes that meet the needs of our service users, working closely with local authorities and community organisations.
  3. Client Case Management: Handle client case management and education, ensuring that all activities meet the required standards.
  4. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff, creating rota schedules on our Care Berry System.
  5. Stakeholder Relationships: Liaise with local authorities, community organisations, and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all activities, including personal care and medication administration, meet the required standards.
  7. Resource Planning: Plan and utilise resources, staying updated with clinical knowledge to ensure that clients receive the best care.
  8. Package Management: Accept and process changes and amendments to existing care packages.
  9. Shift Management: Ensure that all shifts, calls, and working patterns meet the needs of the company, clients, and staff.
  10. Cover and Absence: Ensure adequate cover is available for sickness, absenteeism, or holidays.
  11. Recruitment and Training: Work with the Care Manager, care coordinator, and Recruitment to pre-empt recruitment needs.
  12. Team Collaboration: Work with other members of the team to ensure high-quality service provision.
  13. Record Keeping: Keep accurate records on our system, ensuring that all data is up to date and relevant.
  14. On-Call: Be on-call on a rota basis.
  15. Staff Supervision: Conduct staff spot checks, supervisions, and customer reviews in accordance with our company policy.
  16. Healthcare Partnerships: Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients' health and wellbeing is maintained.
  17. Complaints and Incidents: Record, investigate, and report any complaints in a timely manner.
  18. Audits and Compliance: Conduct monthly audits of all customer report notes and MAR Charts, highlighting any issues or concerns, and speaking to staff regarding any concerns or issues in report writing.
  19. Compliance and Data Protection: Ensure that complaints, incidents, and accidents are logged and actioned in the designated time frame, and inform Registered Manager, Care managers, and Care coordinator of any outstanding actions.
  20. Client Files: Keep all clients' files up to date in the office, in clients' homes, compliance folders, and Matrix.
  21. Professional Development: Engage actively in supervision and appraisal, and attend training on a regular basis to ensure that all mandatory and personal training and development needs are met in line with company requirements.
  22. Company Policies: Work in accordance with our company's mobile phone and IT policies.
  23. Data Protection: At all times, respect the confidentiality of information in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, and ensure that all data is handled fairly and lawfully.
