Job Title: 7.5T Delivery Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5T delivery driver to join our team at Interaction Recruitment. As a 7.5T delivery driver, you will play a critical role in delivering and installing electrical products to our customers' homes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and install electrical products, including white goods, televisions, and cookers, to customers' homes.
  • Engage with customers, provide excellent customer service, and ensure their delivery and installation experience is of the highest standard.
  • Manage and maintain regular contact with customers throughout the day to meet any changes to delivery requests and escalate unplanned issues as necessary.
  • Liaise with manufacturers at the point of delivery when required.
  • Handle products safely and with care, supporting colleagues to do the same.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the role and manage changing volumes of load held in the vehicle during the day.
  • Ensure full compliance with all transport legislation and law.
  • Work compliantly, following driving regulations, site-specific requirements, company, and health and safety policies to keep customers and colleagues safe.
  • Drive safely, showing respect and courtesy to other road users.
  • Carry out the delivery and collection of tote boxes and products from our retail stores.
Requirements:
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face in customers' homes.
  • Ability to work flexibly, alone or collaboratively with colleagues, to ensure we win together.
  • Utilize equipment and correctly handle products to ensure best practice for a safe delivery.
  • Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle or meet criteria to train towards license.
