Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Strategy Manager to join our team at 1st Executive Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving growth across the UK Manufacturing Sector by modernizing and improving capability and efficiency throughout the wider UK PLC.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic procurement, with expertise in navigating the world of private commercial enterprise across global FTSE 250 businesses and SMEs. You will need to have a deep understanding of procurement across private, public, and government contract regulations, as well as experience working closely with cabinet and the Ministry of Defence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive growth and improve efficiency across the UK Manufacturing Sector.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to operations teams to ensure effective implementation of commercial strategies.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
- SC Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong background in strategic procurement, with expertise in private commercial enterprise
- Deep understanding of procurement across private, public, and government contract regulations
- Experience working closely with cabinet and the Ministry of Defence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
