Role Summary:

The Legal Counsel will be instrumental in delivering expert legal assistance across a diverse array of corporate and commercial issues. You will be significantly involved in the company's global growth strategies, M&A activities, and other strategic endeavors. This position provides exceptional exposure to high-stakes legal work and the opportunity to contribute to the company's enduring success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Law: Offer legal counsel on various corporate matters, including entity formation, governance, and adherence to international regulations.
  • Commercial Agreements: Draft, assess, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and risk mitigation.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Facilitate the legal components of M&A transactions, from due diligence to contract negotiation and post-merger integration, ensuring effective execution.
  • Global Expansion: Provide guidance on the legal ramifications of entering new markets, including compliance with local laws, regulatory frameworks, and risk management strategies.
  • Strategic Projects: Collaborate with the General Counsel and senior leadership on high-impact corporate initiatives that drive growth and innovation.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and propose proactive solutions to mitigate them, safeguarding the company's interests.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including finance, operations, and human resources, to deliver legal support that aligns with overarching business goals.
  • Continuous Development: Stay informed on legal trends and best practices, ensuring that the legal function remains innovative, efficient, and responsive to business needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed attorney with specialization in corporate and commercial law.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing corporate transactions, including M&A.
  • Strong grasp of international law and regulations, with experience supporting global business operations.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive and strategic approach.
  • Experience in an in-house legal role is advantageous, but not mandatory.
