We are seeking a skilled Lead Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team at Hunter Dunning Limited. This role is pivotal in enhancing the performance and growth of our office, focusing on a diverse range of residential projects.
Key Responsibilities- Take a proactive role in leading the team, providing coaching and mentorship to enhance technical capabilities.
- Oversee the acquisition of planning permissions and manage tender quotations in accordance with company protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with external consultants, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to assess project progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of UK building regulations, legislation, and codes of practice.
- Manage resources efficiently to ensure client requirements are met within budgetary constraints.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a UK architectural practice post-qualification.
- A relevant degree in architectural technology.
- Possession of a CSCS card or willingness to obtain one immediately.
- Current MCIAT accreditation or actively pursuing it.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects from inception to completion, including leading project teams.
- A proven track record of fostering successful client relationships.
- Experience in mentoring junior staff and facilitating their professional development.
- Competitive salary of up to £45,000.
