Chemistry Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chemistry Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implement and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum for students, including lesson planning and resource development.
  • Facilitate a learning experience that provides students with opportunities to achieve their individual potential.
  • Contribute to the operational and strategic planning of the department, including curriculum planning and quality assurance.
  • Manage information, including maintaining records and tracking student progress.

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
  • Have successful teaching experience at secondary level, ideally including experience in multi-ethnic urban schools and of working in an 11-18 school.
  • Understand the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning.
  • Have knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4, and of writing lesson plans, developing resources, and assessing students.'
  • Have a good level of ICT skills, ideally including innovative use of interactive whiteboards.
  • Be able to motivate students and raise their aspirations through a range of strategies.
