We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a leading manufacturer in the industry. This role requires expertise in working from technical drawings, process sheets, and sketches to execute production tasks effectively.

Key Qualifications:
- NVQ or City & Guilds certification in a relevant discipline
- Completed apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Toolmaking
- Proficient in CNC machining and conventional machinery
- Experience in CNC programming and operation, preferably with Fanuc controls
- Familiarity with BS8888 drawing standards and related BS standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical approach
- Ability to interpret intricate mechanical drawings with high attention to detail
- Competence in CAD/CAM systems and the ability to edit and modify programs
- Self-driven and motivated individual
- Capacity to maintain composure under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Program and operate machining centers to produce components that meet specified requirements
- Utilize necessary workshop equipment, focusing on conventional machines such as lathes and milling machines
- Implement project schedules and plans efficiently
- Foster productive working relationships with engineering, planning, and design teams for effective collaboration
- Conduct routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on machinery as required
- Collaborate with the NPD team and other departments to ensure prototype models fulfill specifications

All tasks must be performed in compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
