Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team at Good Energy Group. As a Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining heating systems, with a focus on heat pumps.

This is a field-based role, where you will work with our customers to ensure their heating systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of workmanship.

You will work closely with our electrical engineers and trainee heating engineers to provide training and guidance, and to ensure that our customers receive the highest levels of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead as a heating installations expert, delivering and demonstrating quality technical expertise to install our Midea heat pumps.
  • Work in close collaboration with the electrical engineers to ensure customers' heating systems are installed safely, on time, and to a high standard of workmanship.
  • Continuously demonstrate the drive to improve in safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Be flexible and open to change in a fast-paced and evolving business.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or similar in plumbing, heating, or engineering.
  • Unvented hot water systems.
  • Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1).
  • Broad health and safety experience.
  • A current full UK driving license.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Oil experience.
  • LPG experience.
  • Renewables experience.
  • Water regulations.
  • Energy efficiency.
  • Experience and understanding of MCS Regulations.
  • Domestic Heat Pump level 3 in installation and maintenance.
