About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Interiors Business Unit of Collins Aerospace, a leading provider of technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the aerospace and defense industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Outside Process (OSP) order book, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Facilitate order book reviews with vendors to ensure alignment with business demands.
- Monitor lead time accuracy and vendor performance to optimize inventory efficiencies.
- Review and maintain vendor price books to ensure accurate invoicing.
- Resolve supplier billing and invoice discrepancies.
- Enable kits for external processes to be picked within vendor lead times.
- Conduct weekly OSP order book management reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Expedite requests for OSP vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and implement vendor service tracking mechanisms and metrics to improve inventory management.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Lead a continuous improvement mindset within the Operations Planning team.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Ethics, Compliance, Health & Safety, and Quality protocols.
- Process purchase orders and manage timely quote management.
- Collaborate with Operations Planning and Manufacturing leadership to achieve on-time delivery and arrears management performance objectives.
Requirements:
- Related experience in supply chain or planning environment or manufacturing background.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated strong business development and strategic planning skills.
- Solid understanding of statistics and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to apply quantitative and qualitative thinking to problems.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
