Job Summary:

Pertemps Swindon is seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to fill the role of Postperson at their Depot in Chippenham. As a Postperson, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to residential areas, working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and deliver mail and packages to residential areas
  • Operate a hand-held computer to navigate routes and manage deliveries
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Perform other duties as required by management

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Physical fitness to perform the demands of the job
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

This is a temp ongoing contract with a minimum of 30+ hours per week. The shift will start around 11 am, and you will be required to work Monday to Saturday. You must be available to work Saturdays.

Hourly Rate: £13.37 per hour
