Vehicle Maintenance Unit Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Unit Manager to join our team at Perfect Placement Uk Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our busy Bristol depot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of legal compliance and standards of roadworthiness, ensuring adherence to the DVSA Earned Recognition Scheme.
  • Ensure the highest levels of health and safety, demonstrating awareness of ISO 18001 H&S and ISO 14001 Environmental standards.
  • Operate safe systems of work and maintain a pride in the fleet, ensuring SOPs and RA's are up to date for every task performed.
  • Manage the operation of the workshop, including staff and vehicle management.
  • Carry out and arrange routine inspections and maintenance of all vehicles to DVSA standards.
  • Monitor and report on DVSA/DVA pass rates.
  • Manage the DVSA/DVA booking system.
