Role Overview
The Senior Project Planner plays a crucial role in formulating, managing, and monitoring the project schedule and controls, serving as an integral member of the team responsible for successful project delivery.
This position also entails providing strategic and commercial insights regarding program implications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and coordination processes effectively.
- Implement and uphold the standards outlined in the Project Business Plan.
- Ensure compliance of all schedules with project specifications.
- Communicate the construction strategy and any proposed enhancements.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to support career development.
- Coordinate time-related information among stakeholders, partners, and the supply chain.
- Develop, maintain, and update the Contract Programme and Programme to Build in alignment with project requirements.
- Generate strategic schedules for tendering, procurement, design, and construction phases.
- Report on progress and challenges, offering advice on mitigation strategies.
- Foster collaboration with internal teams, including commercial, design, customer care, and construction.
- Oversee the execution of planning and coordination processes.
- Provide commercial insights regarding production and program-related issues.
- Contribute to identifying risks, opportunities, and commercial impacts of tender bids.
Required Experience
- Leading the planning and controls function on projects of medium to high complexity.
- Familiarity with project management systems and methodologies.
- Experience in resource management, staff development, and coaching.
- Senior-level planning experience, including team leadership and client interaction.
- Implementing effective project controls, along with accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Able to manage both team and individual responsibilities.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality and precise work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Proficient in identifying trends and issues within production data.
