About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Services Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient preparation, allocation, and reconciliation of procuration fee payments made into the L&G Mortgage Club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately prepare and process scans of Lender procuration fee data against the Mortgage Club database to enable accurate payment of Lender cases to the Societies Intermediaries within the required SLA.
  • Ensure that the unverified database is regularly reviewed and investigated, to ensure payment is made to the appropriate Intermediaries in a timely manner via liaison with the Lender and/or Intermediary.
  • Maintain regular housekeeping and data cleansing of the Mortgage Club database in order to minimise the risk to the Society of invalid or fraudulent activity.
  • Investigate all control reports that identify potential problems with commission or agency records highlighting any manual errors or system anomalies.
  • Understand, resolve and respond to all referred Commission and procuration fee queries within the agreed SLA, projecting a professional customer care approach and excellent service to all Legal & General Intermediaries at all times.
  • Provide full support to our front office Agency Enquires Team when needed, providing cover for the telephone helpline and able to deal with all commission related queries.
  • Act as a positive role model and mentor to others in the team by consistently completing the role to the best ability, sharing knowledge, coaching and guiding junior members of the team, imparting experience and understanding in order to achieve reliably high standards.
Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication, able to respond and react to customers appropriately, building a rapport and satisfying customers needs.
  • Effective planning and ability to prioritise, take full ownership of given tasks and responsibilities to ensure targets are consistently achieved.
  • Good risk awareness.
  • Knowledge of Independent Financial Advisor market desirable.
  • Good desktop skills around Microsoft Office in particular Word & Excel.
