About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a warm and welcoming primary school in Finchley, London. As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their educational journey, helping them thrive in both academics and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the classroom, working closely with the teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Deliver intervention sessions for students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and social development.
  • Support students with SEN needs, ensuring they receive the tailored support necessary to help them excel.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging confidence, participation, and a love of learning.
  • Help with classroom management and ensure a safe and positive space for all pupils.

Requirements
