Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented professional to become a vital part of the Housing Adaptations Team at West Lancashire Borough Council.

As a collaborative team member, you will contribute to the delivery of exceptional services focused on high-quality adaptations.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the Housing Adaptations Manager in achieving service goals aligned with the corporate strategy.

You will coordinate with contractors to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget constraints.

This role entails conducting property assessments, preparing detailed schedules of work, specifications, and arranging for the drafting of plans while securing necessary Building Regulation and Planning Approval.

You will oversee ongoing projects, monitor contractor performance, and ensure quality standards are met. Additionally, you will conduct inspections for interim and final payments.
