Senior Storage Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage Engineer to join our team at Arcus Search. This is a long-term project with a leading Financial Technology firm in London, where you will be part of a new Platform team responsible for designing and building a new GPU estate.

The project aims to increase the computing power of their multi-megawatt GPU farms. As a Senior Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing high-performance storage systems using VAST, ISILON, or other similar technologies.
  • Developing automation scripts using ArgoCD and Jenkins.
  • Implementing monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus or ELK.
  • Working with Ansible and Terraform to deploy and manage infrastructure.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and experience working with high-performance storage systems. You will be working closely with the client's team to design and implement a scalable and efficient storage solution.

The ideal candidate will have advanced level Python skills, strong experience with high-performance storage systems, and good automation and monitoring skills. You will also need to be able to work in the office 2-3 days per week, as the client requires this for the sensitive nature of the work involved.

Rates: £700-850pd inside IR35.
