Location: Remote (covering local and surrounding areas)
Salary: £16.30 per hour (rising to £17.30 per hour after probation)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours (with shifts between 8am and 5pm, and occasional Saturdays)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for identifying problems and advising customers on vehicle issues, as well as performing vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and diagnose vehicle problems
- Advise customers on vehicle issues and provide solutions
- Perform vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks, including electrical and diagnostic work
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification
- At least 5 years of experience as a full-time Mechanic (or time-served equivalent)
- Full UK driving license
- Strong technical experience in maintenance, technical, electrical, and diagnostic areas
