Position Overview:
As a Rail Aesthetics Specialist, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team within a live rail environment. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the aesthetic integrity of rail vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct aesthetic condition assessments and perform rectification tasks, identifying visual defects in both the interior and exterior of rail units.
- Repair bodyside damages including dents, scratches, and vegetation-related issues.
- Execute spray painting on train panels and components, both inside and out.
- Manage decal replacements and flooring repairs.
- Carry out graffiti removal from internal and external surfaces.
- Replace window films and handle minor component replacements that require basic mechanical skills.
- Document work orders and report defects using the Maximo system, including before and after rectification photographs.
- Maintain accurate work records on both tablet and desktop platforms.
- Fulfill depot driving and DP duties as required.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in vehicle body repairs, from preparation to painting.
- Mechanical expertise and reliability in timekeeping.
- Strong communication skills and basic computer literacy.
- A valid UK driver's license.
