Deputy Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Wells & Co. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the pub, restaurant, and hotel in the absence of the Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain front of house standards and drive excellence in food, hotel, service, and drink quality
  • Adhere to all legislative requirements for people, safety, licensing, and maintenance of records
  • Conduct regular stock counts and compare to usage reports, including waste records, to identify opportunities for tighter control
  • Create and maintain a motivated team with excellent standards, identifying talent, and ensuring succession

  • Self-motivation with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a management or leadership role within the hospitality industry
