Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant who is either SC cleared or eligible for SC clearance. To qualify for SC clearance, candidates must have resided in the UK for the past three years.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with occasional travel to client sites and our office.

At Version 1, you will collaborate with a talented team of over 700 Oracle consultants across various regions, delivering comprehensive solutions in Finance, Supply Chain, and HR that drive digital transformation for our clients.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the implementation of core Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
  • Oversee the definition of requirements, design, and gap analysis.
  • Manage application configuration processes.
  • Facilitate functional support for technical activities, including data migration and integration.
  • Conduct solution validation workshops.
  • Supervise testing support, training delivery, and post-implementation guidance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess customer-facing experience in:

  • Oracle Cloud (SaaS) modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Management, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Procurement, Assets, and Expenses.
  • Oracle Cloud Reporting tools: Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, Financial Reporting Studio, and Smartview.
  • Collaborating with other implementation consultants as part of a project team.
  • Documenting business requirements and configurations using Oracle OUM and/or AIM methodologies.
  • Creating high-quality functional specification documentation for business processes and technical builds.
  • Supporting clients through full testing lifecycles and Go Live phases, including test script creation.
  • Ensuring comprehensive Knowledge Transfer to clients and support teams, including training for key users.
  • Managing change requests throughout the development and testing lifecycle.
  • Liaising with Oracle for effective management of client service requests.
  • Keeping clients informed about the latest Oracle Cloud quarterly releases.
  • Ensuring timely project delivery and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Assisting with risk and change management on projects.
  • Providing clients with informed advice on options, risks, and impacts on processes or systems.
  • Effectively communicating project deliverables and completing tasks efficiently.
  • Regularly reporting status and issues to project managers and clients.
