Claims Handler

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Vehicle Replacement Group team in Solihull, Birmingham. As a Third-Party Capture Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in processing and assessing claims, communicating with parties involved, and managing a caseload of claims.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with parties involved in car accidents and gather information for claim processing and assessment
- Manage a caseload of claims, planning telephone contact and updates with clients, insurance companies, and other third parties
- Keep quality records of claim history and up-to-date positions
- Provide advice to clients regarding claims and additional services offered by the business
- Comply with technical and regulatory processes and procedures
- Previous experience in a busy administration or customer services role
- Proactive problem-solving and workload organization skills
- Quick learner with a natural ability to understand processes and technical information
- Background in an insurance or credit hire business an advantage
- Good overall ability with technology, including Microsoft Office packages
- Good standard of education
