About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Specialist / Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Triple West Medical. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Clinical Supervision: Conduct thorough assessments of new patients and provide clinical supervision to other team members to ensure high-quality care.
  2. Multidisciplinary Team Participation: Fully participate in our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  3. Senior Medical Responsibility: Take senior medical responsibility for the care provided by the Community Mental Health Team.
  4. Caseload Review and Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor patient caseloads to ensure appropriate care packages are in place and discharges are facilitated to maintain patient flow.
  5. Team Development: Contribute to the continuous development of the Community Mental Health Team.
  6. Domiciliary Visits: Conduct domiciliary visits to provide assessment and treatment services to patients in their own homes.
  7. Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and conduct domiciliary assessments as needed.
  8. Research and Development: Participate in research projects and clinical audits to improve patient care and services.
  9. Service Development: Collaborate with the team to plan and develop future services.
  10. Liaison with Wards: Establish close liaison with the wards to facilitate admission and discharge of patients.
