Electrical and Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a leading Pharmaceutical company. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

About the Role

As an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, repairing, and developing equipment within the scope of the Engineering Department. You will work closely with our Operational, Engineering, and Quality Control teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Swiftly attend to electro-mechanical faults, ensuring diagnosis and repairs align with production targets.
  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbish offline machinery, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Guarantee all manufacturing equipment operates within established Quality Control specifications, adhering to all statutory legislation and quality system requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.
Requirements
  • A qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering such as C&G, HND, or equivalent experience.
  • A robust engineering aptitude complemented by a sharp eye for innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, process-driven approach, a proactive and self-motivated attitude with a keen awareness of safety protocols in a high-volume, automated manufacturing setting.
