Job Summary:
Exectec is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Safety and Compliance Manager to spearhead the safety management system and oversee the quality and compliance monitoring systems within our established and respected aircraft maintenance organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and supervise compliance audits, manage discrepancies, and champion ongoing enhancement of performance and quality.
- Formulate, document, and implement proprietary processes, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee Part 145 certifying staff authorizations and maintain records of personnel competency assessments.
- Execute the yearly audit plan and guarantee resolution of any discrepancies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage the Safety and Compliance team to ensure effective implementation of safety and compliance policies.
- Update and adjust organizational procedures to align with Part-145 updates and regulatory changes.
- Evaluate subcontractors and oversee maintenance tasks performed outside approved premises to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act as the point of contact for the competent authority for updates, amendments, and notifications.
- Manage all compliance and safety issues for the organization in line with the IS-BAH standard.
Requirements:
- Registered Form 4 holder with a deep understanding of airworthiness regulations associated with Part 145.
- Experience in advising the accountable person on points of safety and compliance.
- Strong leadership and management skills to manage the Safety and Compliance team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
