Job Summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiothoracic department, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgery and cardiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery and cardiology procedures
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of consultants, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure high standards of patient care
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Completion of a recognized cardiothoracic anaesthesia fellowship program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
